Our 200th sold sign.
Congratulations to the Lees, our very latest family who can look forward to enjoying life, here on nature’s doorstep.
Nigel, Melanie and their two kids had been living in Mernda. They’d outgrown the home they bought as a young couple and they were wanting to upsize. ”We love the area and had been looking at land for a while but all the estates are really small,” Melanie told us. Then driving past Wollert Rise one day, Melanie said to Nigel: “You should check that out”. After dropping the family back home, he wasted no time in seeking out the Wollert Rise Welcome Centre. It was a trip that would change their lives.
With a growing family, the Lees were hoping to build a double storey home. They also wanted a lot that didn’t have an easement so they could have a pool. Wollert Rise Estate Manager, Rishav Bhardwaj said: ”I’ve got just the block”. The land Rishav was referring to is 544sqm and park facing. The couple agreed it was the one for them. “I love the redgums and the wildlife so we also looked at the environmental plans for Wollert Rise,” Melanie admitted. “We really were happy to see that these ancient trees are being preserved.”
“Rishav has been so supportive,” Melanie said. “He has been talking with the builder to get all the information and that has been very, very helpful” she explained. The family have their heart set on a four-bedroom home with three or four living areas and a big kitchen for their family of six; the both of them, their two children as well as a couple of dogs.
Being close to Mernda the children will be able to stay at their current schools. When they move into Wollert Rise, they’ll be almost ready for secondary college.
Between now and then the family can have fun imagining their dream home and then seeing it brought to life. On behalf of everyone in our community, we welcome the Lees to beautiful Wollert Rise.
